Components of Studio Articulations Unit Plan

Art History

Each unit focuses on an artist and their work for students to draw inspiration from. Care is taken to avoid inappropriate content.

Different Mediums and Styles

Explore the mediums of drawing, painting, print-making, sculpture, and design all while learning and creating from many art styles.

Creative Thinking

Develop creative thinking skills and art analysis as well as an understanding of how and why artists create.

Creating the space for conversations about God

Studio Articulations provides the content and techniques for students to develop their desire to create, a desire reflecting the image and character of Father God – the great Creator. This curriculum provides a space or context for conversations about who God is and what it means to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Studio Articulations assumes that you, the teacher, are the most important part of the classroom and you will teach out of your personal relationship with Jesus.
